THE PROBLEM
● There is restricted movement of farmers outside the villages & no movement to work as labourers.These are the chief sources of income for our villages.
● Most of our villagers have grains like wheat & maize which they grow. After much thought, we have listed families that need basic essentials like oil, dal, mirch, jira, namak & haldi.
( The Gov initiative is brilliant. Gov has given 3 months ration in advance 1 kg rice & 3 kg Wheat per person but they haven’t arranged for dal ,jeera, mirch, oil namak etc )
● The estimated expense of each family for these, per week is ₹325. Right now help for a family for a month would be sufficient.
So far we have identified 20 families. There are more.
HOW YOU COULD HELP ?
You could transfer the money directly to the Grocery store. It would also be great if you can arrange direct supplies to or near our village. Our team could pick up the provisions from there for distribution.
