RATION DISTRIBUTION IN REMOTE TRIBAL VILLAGES AMID LOCKDOWN
Madhya Pradesh has the largest tribal population. There are about 1 crore + tribals in MP. Of course it is not possible to reach out to all of them but a 1000 can be reached. Abhedya Adiwasi Team Youngsters manage the outreach of the organisation in very remote areas. Till now we have distributed ration in remote tribal villages which fall into 80-100 km radius around Bhopal, MP, India.
BATTLING MALNUTRITION
Prevalence of malnutrition is extremely high in tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh. The effects of Malnutrition are irreversible if they occur at young age. If not death, it may lead to permanent disabilities. We need your support in terms of ideas and funds. Help us in arranging for healthy diet for the tribal kids from our village. Help break the vicious cycle of poverty and malnutrition by sponsoring the monthly diet of one child.
PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN
We prioritize psychological well being of children above everything. We keep a keen eye on child protection cases wherever we have teams.
STRUGGLE FOR WATER
With the help of our passionate team, youngsters and elders in the village, we got water tank installed which solved the issue of water shortage partially. We have carried out a survey in nearby forest area and identified 1000 GPS locations to build check dams, stop dams and gabion structures. We have the exact technological specifications for these 100 structures . We are looking for partners who could help us fund this initiative and resolve the water problem once for ever.
